SAFFORD — The date has been set for the Safford City-Graham County Library’s annual Holiday Open House.
The seventh annual Holiday Open House will take place Thursday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the main library on 7th Avenue.
The event will open with the Friends of the Library Bake Sale, to raise funds for library programming and materials. From 3-6 p.m. there will be holiday crafts and activities for the entire family, followed by an appearance by the star of the season.
“Santa will be there from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for photos,” said Library Director Victoria Silva.
All activities are free and no library card is required to attend and take part.
In addition to the Holiday Open House, the Safford Library has holiday storybooks, music, cookbooks, movies, and Christmas-themed novels and eBooks available for checkout. For more information, go to the library or visit www.saffordlibrary.org.
