GLOBE — Add another delay to trips between the Gila Valley and the Phoenix metro area.
Arizona Department of Transportation announced lane restrictions will be in place on U.S. Highway 70, between mile markers 256-259, east of Globe.
The alternating east- and westbound lane restrictions will in place daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. now through Sept. 11. Flaggers will assist vehicle and the speed limit will be reduced to 25 miles per hour in the work zone.
The restrictions are in place for the Old San Carlos Road Lighting Project.
