TUCSON — Motorists should plan for delays during trips between the Gila Valley and the Tucson and area next week.
The left lanes of Interstate 10, between mileposts 292-293 at Empirita Road, will be closed both east- and westbound from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, starting Monday, Sept. 14, and ending Friday, Sept. 18.
The closures are for the I-10 Amole Traffic Interchange and UPRR Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
Marsh Station Road will experience a daily flagging operation from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday while the I-10 lane closures are in place.
A 16-foot vehicle width restriction remains in place throughout the project corridor while the lane restrictions are active. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
