Kathy Dickinson Stanford, 66, of Safford, Arizona, passed away on November 18, 2016, surrounded by her family. Kathy was born on February 3, 1950, in Douglas, Arizona, to Margaret Snyder and Henry J. Dickinson.
Kathy married the love of her life, David, on October 4, 1971, in Bisbee, Arizona. They moved to Playas, New Mexico, in 1975, where she raised her children. Kathy and David moved to Springerville, Arizona, in 2002, where they spent many happy years in the White Mountains.
Kathy is survived by: her son, Brian and wife Jessica Stanford of Silver City, New Mexico; her daughter, Jamie and husband Brian Avila of Safford, Arizona; she had five grandchildren, Ty, Cash, Serena, Elijah, and Quentin; she is also survived by her loving sister, Linda Brown of Bisbee, Arizona.
Kathy is preceded in death by: her husband, David C. Stanford; her mother, Margaret Snyder Dickinson Mical; her father, Henry J. Dickinson; and her sister, Connie Duncan.
A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be conducted Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley.”
