John Anthony Abeyta, affectionately known as Tony, of Safford, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 60.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Tony will be celebrated Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Robert Rodriguez. Committal will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
Praying of the rosary will be Tuesday evening April 11, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church led by Deacon Carl Vessels.
Family will receive friends Tuesday April 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., also at the church.
