Jerry Cook

Jerry Lee Cook, also known as “Dad,” “Grandpa Cook,” “Papa,” “Snickers the Clown,” “Potluck the Hobo Clown,” “Talizar the Wizard,” and of course “Santa,” has gone home to his Heavenly Father. He passed from this life suddenly, on March 8, 2016, while working in New Mexico. He was 57 years young and lived in Safford, Arizona.
Jerry is survived by: his daughter, Lea Elam; son-in-law, Zachary Elam; grandbabies, Irelynn, Sycilee, and Boston Elam; his son, Lewis Cook; daughter-in-law, Skye Cook; grandbabies, Paige and Kain Cook; his mother, Mary Ann Cook; as well as sisters, Kathy Bowen, Mary Smith, and Carolin Brobst.
He is predeceased by: his father, Lawrence E. Cook Sr.; as well as his brother, Lawrence “Larry” Cook Jr.
Anyone wanting to pay their respects may do so Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Vining Funeral Home, in Safford, Arizona. A viewing will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Jerry will then be laid to rest in the El Dorado Cemetery, which is located near the Chiricahua Mountains.
