James Eugene Lee, 86 years old, entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2024, at his home in Bryce, with his family at his side.
Jim was born in Los Angeles, California, then moved to Thatcher, Arizona. He graduated from Thatcher High School, served a mission in the Southern States Mission, and then attended ASU. While at ASU, he met and later married Marion Jean Stegman in the Mesa Arizona Temple on June 1, 1961.
Jim and Marion were blessed with seven children: David (Debra) Lee, Karen (Dennis) Lines, Kathy (Bryan) Wagner, MarJean (Teddy) Poindexter, Jim (Amy) Lee, Marlene (James) Bogart, and Lori (Russ) Snow. He has 23 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, all of which he greatly adored. He also leaves behind two wonderful brothers, Robert Lee of Thatcher, and George Lee of Sun Lakes, Arizona.
Jim was preceded in death by: his parents, Anthon and Blanch Lee; and his sweetheart, Marion Lee.
Family received friends Thursday morning, March 21, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at the Vining Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services for Jim followed on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the Bryce Cemetery by Bishop Brendan Cluff of the Pima Fourth Ward.
