An intoxicated woman crashed her car into the guardrail in front of Walgreens on 20th Avenue in Safford. The incident happened on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at approximately 4:30 pm. Witnesses say the woman made a left turn onto 20th Avenue from Highway 70 and was heading south when she crossed over into oncoming traffic before bumping up over the curb and hitting the guard rail.
The woman’s car was towed from the scene and she was placed under arrest after being cleared by medical personnel.
