The City of Safford is issuing a warning about increased traffic through the area. West bound I-10 near the Arizona and New Mexico border is currently closed due to high winds and an accident. Traffic is being routed through Safford and back to I-10 via 191. This is causing unusually high traffic through the City of Safford. Please expect delays, drive carefully and be mindful of extra traffic in the area.
