Holiday skies shine bright thanks to Light Up the Gila Valley winners

THATCHER — The holidays have been made a great deal brighter, thanks to hundreds of homeowners who decorated their homes with lights and participated in the Light Up the Gila Valley program, sponsored by Country Finance, LifeNet 10, Graham County Electric Co-op and Double R Communications.

Twenty of those homeowners have an even bright holiday, having won a $100 gift card for having one of the best decorated homes.

“We’ve been doing this since about 2014, it’s been a while,” said winner Eldon Woodall, of Pima. “We missed last year because of COVID, but we’re back on again.”

Winning homes were announced on the Reed Richins Show on Kat Kountry 94.5 FM Monday morning. They include:
