PIMA — Pima Vice Mayor Sherrill Teeter announced  the seventh annual Community Wish Tree will return to Pima Town Hall this holiday season.

She is currently working with the town library and local schools to secure the names of children and seniors who could benefit “by having wishes granted this Christmas.”

The deadline to volunteer to purchase and return unwrapped gifts (with the tags) to Town Hall or the library is 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14.

Safford also announced the second annual Angel Wish Tree will be up this year.

Joann Soto with the City of Safford is accepting nominations of those who could use a little help. The deadline to submit names is Nov. 16 and, once the list has been compiled, tags will be placed on the Angel Wish Tree in the Safford City Annex.

The city is also accepting donations of wrapping paper, unmarked gift tags, gift bags and boxes.

For more information or to nominate in Pima call 928-485-2611, and in Safford call 928-432-4140.
