THATCHER — Another Gila Valley resident will have a chance at higher education thanks to Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation.
Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation board of directors announced the group exceeded its fund-raising goal in 2021, resulting in the ability to offer an additional full scholarship to Eastern Arizona College.
Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation officers presented Eastern Arizona College Scholarship Foundation with a check for $9,100, which will fund three full and two partial scholarships.
