High School Rodeo coming to the Fairgrounds this month

SAFFORD — High schoolers from across the state will be making their way to Graham County Fairgrounds later this month.

The seventh stop in the Arizona High School Rodeo season will be in Safford on March 25-26.

Athletes will take part in bull, steer, and saddlebronc riding; chute dogging and steer wrestling; barrel racing, cutting, and pole bending; team and tie-down roping; and goat tying.

The event is free to watch and food vendors will be onsite.

Graham County Fairgrounds is also looking for sponsors. Those interested can purchase packages ranging from $250 to $3,000 or more. Contact Trey Andrews at 928-965-8180 or at tandrews@graham.az.gov.
