THATCHER — The Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College has shared a grant opportunity for business owners who happen to be mothers.
The High Five Grant is available to female business owners raising children, and grants range from $1,000 to $10,000.
Business owners’ applications are reviewed by a panel of judges and eight finalists will be selected. The finalists’ business stories are then shared and the public can vote who which business owner will receive the top grant.
Second place will receive $5,000, third $2,500 and the remaining five finalists $1,000 each.
Since starting in 2018, the High Five Grant has awarded $115,500 to mom entrepreneurs.
