Guillermo “Billy” Ramirez Gonzales of Solomon entered into rest on December 11, 2021 at the age of 81, with his family by his side. He was born in Solomonville, AZ on April 12,1940 to his parents Guillermo and Lucia Gonzales. He married the love of his life Janice on January 17th, 1976 and made their home in Solomon Arizona, where they raised their family together.
Billy worked many years in construction and after his retirement he worked pridefully as a custodian at the Safford School District. He loved all the staff that he had the opportunity to work with.
Billy loved going cruising, fishing, and an occasional cold one. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Billy is survived by his sons Ronnie and Michael, his stepson Jeff, his brothers Angel Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales, his sisters Maria Canalles and Corina Vega. His 2 nieces that he helped to raise Karen Peru, Roberta Koerber, his Granddaughters, Adamy Holmes and Essence Montoya. He also has many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that loved him very much.
He is preceded in death by both parents Guillermo, and Lucia Gonzales, his stepson Curtis, his beloved wife Janice Gonzales, and his brother Alfredo Gonzales.
A memorial will be held at a later date with his nephew, Father John Gonzales officiating services.
