SAFFORD — The next expansion of services at Mr. Graham Regional Medical Center will get underway next week.
The hospital will conduct a ground-breaking for its new 3,600-square-foot pharmacy building on Monday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m.
The new building will provide expanded pharmacy services to multiple departments in the hospital, as well to members of the public.
It will be the second ground-breaking for MGRMC in 2025 and the third in two years. The first shovels of dirt were turned for Medical Office Complex No. 2 in November 2023 and the hospital celebrated the building’s opening with a ribbon-cutting this past July.
In March 2025, the hospital joined with Eastern Arizona College to break the ground for the new Copper Mountain Clinic Thatcher and Cosmetology building on the EAC campus. That building is expected to open by Fall 2026.
Other recent additions to MGRMC are the October 2025 opening of a new Cath Lab and expanded cardiac services. The hospital is currently using a mobile lab until design and construction of a permanent structure is complete.
And in July 2025, the hospital was upgraded to a Level III trauma center.
