SAFFORD — Daniel Griffiths-Finnigsmier was the top speller at the Lafe Nelson School Spelling Bee on Jan. 12.
The Spelling Bee was open to fifth- and sixth-grade students. Participating were:

Belinda Britt was the pronouncer.
Shelby Fontaine finished as first runner-up and will join Griffiths-Finnigsmier in representing LNS at the Graham County Spelling Bee on Feb. 16. in the General Services Building at 6 p.m.
