Graham County tops 70 COVID-19 cases

SAFFORD —Graham County is now at 71 total cases of COVID-19, following the confirmation of six positives Tuesday.

One of the persons lives in Safford, two in Thatcher and three on the San Carlos Apache reservation.

The San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation announced three additional cases Tuesday besides those reported by Graham County, bringing the tribe’s total to 119 — 99 on the reservation and 20 off.

Two of the new cases were in people being held in quarantine from a previous positive.

Greenlee County is holding at 16 positive cases.

There have been two deaths from COVID-19 in Graham County, two on the reservation and one in Greenlee County.
