SAFFORD — Despite changes necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Graham County announced the annual county fair will take place.
The Graham County Fair and Racing Association issued a statement Thursday that the fair would be a modified two-day affair, featuring livestock and other exhibitions.
The livestock, food, art and other exhibitions will take place Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9-10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the livestock auction taking place Saturday at 4 p.m. Admission to the exhibitions is free.
Absent this year will be the midway and carnival, entertainment and vendors; however, food vendors will be allowed to set up and operate.
Masks must be worn when at the fair and physical distancing protocols will be observed. Also, all exhibit buildings will funnel visitors through in one-way traffic patterns.
