TUCSON — New polling commissioned by Republicans shows incumbent U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., behind his Democratic challenger.

The polling by Ragnar Research Partners for Conservatives for America, show Democrat JoAnna Mendoza ahead of Ciscomani, 47 percent to 44 percent, in the race for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, which includes Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.

The margin of error is +/- 5 percent. The polling was conducted March 12-14 via telephone.

Mendoza’s polling advantage has increased over the past six months. A survey by House Majority Pac in October 2025 saw Mendoza ahead 42 percent to 41 percent for Ciscomani. House Majority Pac is a Democratic Super Pac.

Ciscomani is seeking his third term in Congress, in one of the most competitive districts in the nation. He won his first term in 2022 by less than 2 percent, and his second term in 2024 by 2.5 percent. In both races, he defeated Democrat Kirsten Engel.
