Gila Valley Arts Council bringing Musikaravan to the Player Center

SAFFORD — Gila Valley Arts Council announced its final concert for the season will be a performance by Musikaravan,

The three-piece string ensemble will perform “Smile,” “La Vie en Rose,” “Czardas,” and other beloved compositions.

The concert will take place Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m., at the David M. Player Center for the Arts. Tickets are currently on sale at Richards Music, 928-428-2442, online at www.saffordcenterforthearts.com or at the door. Adult ticket prices are $15 and $20 and all reserved seating. Children and students are $5 for all seating levels, premium or standard in any section.

In addition to the evening performance, Musikaravan will offer a free short casual performance Monday, March 24, at 2 p.m., in the Safford City-Graham County Library’s Program Room. The free performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Safford Library.

Musikaravan’s performances are made possible by funding received from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, The Western States Arts Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as support received from the United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, Freeport-McMoRan Corporation and the Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley.
