SUPERIOR — Lane restrictions on U.S. Highway 60 will be in place this week.
Highway 60 will be closed in both directions between mileposts 227-243 Tuesday, Nov. 18, through Thursday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The closure is for the Queen Creek and Waterfall Canyon bridges replacement project.
Drivers will be detoured to Winkelman via State Routes 77 and 177. The roughly 75-mile detour is estimated to add about an hour to trips between the Gila Valley and the Phoenix metro area.
