SAFFORD — The Friends of the Safford Library have two events occurring this week, starting Wednesday at Jerry’s Restaurant.
“Bring the flyer you can get in-person at the library, or online on the library website, so that 25 percent of your bill goes directly to the Friends of the Safford City-Graham County Library,” said Elizabeth Henley, Early Literacy coordinator for the library.
The fund-raiser will take place all day, for both dine-in or take-out.
All funds raised are used to purchase materials and programming for the library.
On Thursday, the Friends of the Library will present the program River of Dreams, songs and stories of Arizona’s waterways by Jay Cravath.
The program will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Library Annex, at 814 S. Central Ave.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
