THATCHER — The Associated Students of Eastern Arizona College and the Safford Police Officers’ Association announced the annual 7-on-7 flag football Friday Night Lights event will take place April 5 at EAC’s John Mickelson Field.
Cost is $80 for a seven-person team — EAC students play free — and the winners will walk away with a $200 grand prize.
There will also be a burger special at the games, a one-third pound Carter’s Custom Cuts bacon cheeseburger, chips, drink and a cookie for $12. Again, free for EAC students with valid ID.
All proceeds from the event benefit Make a Difference scholarships to EAC for area youths making a difference in their communities.
