SAFFORD – A 74-year-old Florida man reportedly drove his 1998 Dodge van into the pool at the Economy Inn, 225 E. U.S. Highway 70.
The incident occurred Tuesday, March 23, at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The man was not injured and there were no signs of impairment from alcohol or drugs.
The pool was empty at the time of the collision and the extent of damages sustained is unknown.
Identity of the driver was not released and investigation into the incident is ongoing.
