Family of man injured in car accident asks community for help

The family of one of the victims of a head-on collision on Highway 191 last Thursday is asking the community for financial help to cope with his extensive injuries. A family member posted this on Facebook:

On February 15th, Jared was on his way to work. He was the passenger in a car that was in a head on collision. He was flown from the scene via helicopter and suffers from multiple life threatening injuries. Jared is currently at Banner UMC and has had multiple surgeries, the list of which is exhaustive. As of right now, it is clear Jared’s entire life has altered. He currently has no movement in the left side of his body and very little in his right. It is in our prayers he comes home similar to how he left, but the truth is, he is likely not to. His wife, Trisha, just started a new job and will also be unable to work given the circumstances.

Anyone that knows Jared knows he is the first to offer to help anyone in need. He is always helping a friend with their yard, painting their house and ensuring that the people he loves are taken care of.

For now, Jared and his family need our help as a community. Please consider donating to either Trisha’s Venmo or her Zelle.
