THATCHER — One of the nation’s fastest growing sports activities will serve as a fund-raiser to help families with children battling serious illness.
Families Fighting Cancer Together announced its fifth annual Pickleball Tournament fund-raiser will take place Oct. 24-25 at the tennis courts outside of Thatcher High School.
The unsanctioned round robin tournament is open to all levels. Friday’s play starts at 4 p.m. and will feature men’s and women’s doubles. Saturday play starts at 9 a.m. and will feature mixed doubles.
Cost is $55 per person and registration closes Oct. 17. Click here to register.
Families Fighting Cancer Together is a local nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance and other support to families affected by cancer and other life-altering pediatric illnesses in Graham and Greenlee counties.
