Edith “Edie” Elizabeth Parsons, 52, of Duncan, passed away March 7, 2017 in Virden, New Mexico. She was born September 16, 1964 in Morenci, Arizona to Bobby Scott & Sharon Yates Buckner.
She graduated from Duncan High School in 1983. Edie became a haul truck driver for Phelps Dodge but also enjoyed being a homemaker to her children; Jared, Cameron & Cory Bradford. Her many hobbies include interior design and publishing poetry but Edie’s greatest love was her children and grandchildren.
Edie is survived by her three sons; Jared Bryan Bradford, Cameron Wade Bradford and Cory Michael Lee Bradford, parents Bob & Sharon Buckner, siblings; Phyllis McQuigg and Vince Buckner and grandchildren; Denver Bradford, Drake Bradford, Lilian Shaw and Jaxton Bradford.
Services for Edie will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 beginning with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Duncan. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery.
