Eastern Arizona was on the wrong end of a 13-9 loss to Seminole State to end their season at the NJCAA National Tournament in St. George, Utah. Eastern was playing their 2nd straight game after losing this morning to Temple.
Eastern gave up 3 runs in the first before answering with 5 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 5-3 lead. That lead was short lived however as Seminole State added 6 more runs in the 3rd to take a commanding 11-3 lead. EAC chipped away, adding single runs in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th innings.
The Lady Gila Monsters will finish the National Tournament with 2-2 record and a 54-12 overall record.
