THATCHER — The Gila Valley’s best and brightest took to the stage over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Eastern Arizona Cinderella Scholarship Pageant was held at the Eastern Arizona College Fine Arts Center with the younger competitors taking the stage first.
Babies, Infants, Tiny Tots and Tots were judged on personality, beauty and how photogenic they are. The overall winners were Infant Adelaide Evans, Baby Ariella Hernandez, Tiny Tot Saylor Evans and Tot Rori Overall.
Miniature Miss, Miss, Teen and Woman competitors were judged on how photogenic they were and talent. The overall winners were Miniature Miss Mila Martin, Miss Katarina Bencomo, Teen Charlotte Graham and Woman Adona Spackman.
All overall winners receive a complimentary photo shoot with Imageography Studios and a flower bouquet from 5th Avenue Florist.
The Teen and Woman overall winners each received one year’s free tuition to Eastern Arizona College, with the Teen winner able to use the scholarship to pay for dual enrollment in high school or after graduation. Skin with Shania will also provide a free eyebrow waxing for the Teen and Woman winners before the state competition later this year.
