THATCHER, AZ—Auditions for Eastern Arizona College’s spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress, will be held January 25-27, with acting and music auditions on January 25 from 7-9 p.m. and Jan. 26 from 7-8:15 p.m., dance auditions, on January 26 from 8:30-10 p.m., and call backs on January 27 from 7-9 p.m. in the EAC Choir Room (FA-111).
Community members are encouraged to audition; however, all those auditioning should be prepared to commit to the rehearsal schedule. For the first night, interested performers should prepare a short song and a brief monologue, each about one minute long. An accompanist and a CD player will be available as needed, and their use is strongly suggested.
Dance auditions will be held on the second night and it is important to dress comfortably. This musical has a large amount of dance numbers and all interested in participating must attend.
A call-back list will be posted on Thursday, January 27, and only those on the list will need to come to the call-backs that night.
