THATCHER, Ariz.— Eastern Arizona College’s Repertory Acting Company is proud to announce five, fast-paced performances of 30 Plays in 60 Minutes, from November 28-30 at 7:30 pm and December 1 at 2 and 7:30 pm in the SC-3 Theater!
In this structure, the REP company will attempt to perform 30 short plays in the span of only one hour, with the order of the plays being determined by the audience at hand. Members of the company have written, interpreted, and staged every one of the thirty plays which will be performed in this dynamic show – and they are thrilled to share this original, exciting, and FAST new play festival with their audiences!
The Repertory Acting Company is a group of students who meet together every day to create, devise, rehearse, and share their own original productions and adaptations. In the past, this company has collaborated to produce award-winning shows like Stories On Stage!: A Celebration of Traditional Folk Tale;, Hear our Voices: A Personal Examination of Mental Health; Romeo and Juliet; A Christmas Carol; James and the Giant Peach; and more. Earlier this semester the group made audiences roar with laughter with their production of Insert Title Here: An Improvisation Showcase.
The members of the 2018 Fall Repertory Acting Company include Megan Codling, Sarah Layden, Nikolas Mase, Adam Moore, Emily Nagy, Kylie Parkinson, Rudy Perez, Hannah Prestridge, Noah Rohrbough, John Shestko, Madelynn St. Peter, Kaylee Wilson, Angelique Woods, Jonas Yarbro, and Shaylah Young. Every member has contributed to the writing, designing, and staging of this production.
Please come to see 30 Plays in 60 Minutes, performed by the EAC Repertory Acting Company, from November 28 – December 1 at 7:30pm. There will be a special matinee performance on Saturday, December 1, at 2 pm. General admission is $3, and full-time students will be admitted free with a valid EAC ID. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling EAC’s Ticket Office at (928) 428-8228, or outside of the theater before the show. Advanced reservations are recommended. Everyone is invited to attend this fun, interactive production which has been sculpted to be a unique theatrical experience for all audiences.
