THATCHER, Ariz.—Eastern Arizona College’s English Department and the Associated Students of Eastern Arizona College (ASEAC) invite the community to this year’s Unity in the Community lecture, featuring transformative speaker Tommy Christensen.
The event, titled “Connection through Compassion,” will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, in the Activities Center – Lee Little Theater on the Thatcher campus.
Christensen, known for his engaging storytelling and thought-provoking insights, will explore the power of compassion in fostering meaningful connections within communities. This annual lecture series aims to inspire students, faculty and community to engage in dialogue that promotes unity and understanding.

The Unity in the Community lecture is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating.
