Thatcher, Ariz.— Love, loss, and the supernatural take center stage as Eastern Arizona College’s Division of Fine Arts presents Ghost the Musical April 1–4 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium, with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 4. Admission is $5, and full-time EA students are admitted free with ID.
Based on the iconic Paramount Pictures film, Ghost the Musical tells the unforgettable story of Sam and Molly, a young couple whose love endures even after tragedy. After Sam’s sudden death, his spirit remains to protect Molly, uncover the truth behind his murder, and connect with her through an unexpected and often hilarious psychic, Oda Mae Brown.
Blending romance, suspense, humor, and stunning stage effects, the production features music by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin. Audiences will experience powerful storytelling brought to life with theatrical illusions and the timeless song “Unchained Melody.”
With emotional performances, visually striking moments, and a story that resonates across generations, Ghost the Musical offers an unforgettable night at the theater for the entire community.
It is a tradition for students in Jeff Henley’s graphic design classes to submit poster designs for the spring musical. This year’s winning design was created by Carlos Miranda.
Performances will take place in the Fine Arts Auditorium on EA’s Thatcher campus. Tickets are available at eac.edu.
