SAFFORD — The Safford City-Graham County Library, Friends of the Library and Gila Valley Arts Council are once again teaming to treat library patrons to a special performance.
Classical guitarists Duo Deloro will conduct a short program in the library’s programming room on Monday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. The performance in the Safford Library is free.
Duo Deloro is flamenco and classical guitarist Adam Del Monte and guitarist Mak Gergich.
The library appearance is in addition to performing for the public at the David M. Player Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Jan. 11, and conducting workshops for area school children and advanced music students in Graham and Greenlee counties.
Tickets for Duo Deloro’s Jan. 9 performance in the Trekasges Hall at the Player Center are currently on sale at Richards Music, online at saffordusd.com and at the door. Adult ticket prices are $10 and $15 for reserved seating. Children and students tickets are $5.
The 2022-23 Gila Valley Arts Council season is sponsored by United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, Arizona Commission on the Arts, The Western States Arts Federation, the National Endowment for the Arts, Freeport-McMoRan Corporation, The Flinn Foundation and the Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley.
