GRAHAM COUNTY — Graham County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman who allegedly stole her friend’s car.
The victim said she took her friend along on a trip to the local DES office, and when the victim exited the building, she saw her vehicle and friend were gone.
A day later, she contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report the vehicle stolen. She told deputies she waited because she hoped her friend would return and, as her friend is on probation, she didn’t want to get her friend in trouble.
Deputies contacted the suspect’s probation officer, but both deputies and the probation officer were unable to get in contact with the suspect.
The stolen vehicle is described as a blue 2012 Chevrolet Cruze.
