On June 22nd and 23rd, David Archuleta will be performing at the David M. Player Center for the Arts. For those who have never heard of David Archuleta, he is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Specializing in pop music, he’s from Sandy Utah and is now an internationally known star. At the age of seventeen, he became one of the youngest contestants in the television show, American Idol. He finished the show with the title of runner up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.
Archuleta has released multiple albums, and one album solely in the Philippines. He’s been on military tribute tours, and served an LDS mission in Chile. When he isn’t recording music, he works with disaster relief and charities.
