Country Financial is honoring First Responders today with a certificate for 2 hamburgers and 2 fries at either Taylor Freeze location in the Gila Valley. The certificates are available at Country Financial’s office at 813 W Court Street in Safford until 4:00 p.m. today. Vaughn Grant of Country Financial says they have 350 certificates and they’re available for First Responders and anybody who works with them, including spouses.
Yesterday, Vaughn Grant and Jenna Ferrin presented a check for $500 to American Legion Swift-Murphy Post 32 to honor veterans and support the organization. Grant said that his father, Lyle Grant, was a World War II veteran and prisoner of war. The American Legion provided an honor guard at his funeral as well as many other funerals. Grant said the donation is made to help fund the Legions operations.
