TUCSON — The U.S. Forest Service is still accepting comments on what types of recreational opportunities should be available on the Sky Islands.
The Sky Islands are 16 mountain ranges across southeastern Arizona, and into southwestern New Mexico and northern Mexico, including Mount Graham, Cochise Stronghold, Chiricahua Mountains Cave Creek Canyon, Peña Blanca Lake and the Huachuca Mountains.
The Forest Service is seeking input in order to set priorities for future camping, trails, picnicking and recreational activities.
Comments will be accepted through May 30 at The Future of Recreation in the Sky Islands (arcgis.com) or by e-mailing Mailroom_R3_Coronado@usda.gov.
