SUPERIOR — The planned closure of U.S. Highway 60 between Miami and Superior planned for Wednesday, July 31, has been postponed.
Arizona Department of Transportation announced Monday the roadway would remain open to accommodate traffic impacted by the closure of State Route 87 due to the 15,000-acre Sand Stone fire in Maricopa County.
ADOT has not yet announced a date when blasting work will resume on the Queen Creek and Waterfall bridges replacement project, necessitating the closure of U.S. 60.
