The City of Safford wants input from local business owners and operators.
The City of Safford, Graham County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College and the Safford Downtown Association will host a Spotlight on Business breakfast event Monday, April 1.
Safford Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella will welcome everyone and offer an update on city resources and regulations pertaining to business within the city. Business owners and operators will also hear about Safford business licensing requirements and the latest updates on IRS reporting.
To close, City Manager Cassella and other city staff will conduct a listening session, giving business owners and operators the opportunity to talk face-to-face with city officials about what is working well, and what the city can do to better, to assist small businesses succeed in Safford.
Spotlight on Business at the Manor 415 Convention Center will start with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 a.m., before moving into the 90 minute program at 7:30 a.m.
