SAFFORD — The Graham County Chamber of Commerce wants you!
There are two vacancies on the Chamber’s board of directors, with a third opening at the end of the year when Board President Corina Pino-Reyes’ term ends, so the Chamber is accepting applications to serve.
Board members are expected to attend a monthly meeting, at 8 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month, and actively participate in at least one committee. Due to the commitment, board members are discouraged from serving simultaneously on several other nonprofit boards.
Selection preference will go to owners of businesses in Graham County. To maintain the integrity and reputation of the Chamber, prospective board members should not have a history of bankruptcy or felony convictions.
To apply, go to the Chamber’s website.
The mission of the Chamber is to “advance the quality of life for everyone in the Gila Valley through connection, leadership and tourism.”
