SAFFORD — Voters will have the chance this week to talk one-on-one with candidates for state and federal office.
“We’re having a great big meet-and-greet, and we are bringing six candidates here to visit with anyone that would like to come down to the Chamber of Commerce,” said Patty Cervantez, chair of the Graham County Democratic Committee.
The Graham County Democratic meet-and-greet will take place Thursday, June 18, from 12:3-2 p.m., in the large meeting room in the Graham County Chamber of Commerce building in Safford.
That same day, from 5-6:30 p.m., the Greenlee County Democratic event will take place at the Union Hall in Clifton.
Scheduled to appear are:
- JoAnna Mendoza, candidate for U.S. Congress
- Jackie O’Donnell Anderson, candidate for state House
- Addie Swallow, candidate for state House
- Jonathan Hill, candidate for Corporation Commission
- Clara Pratte, candidate for Corporation Commission
- Brian Matlock, candidate for state Mine Inspector
- Nick Monsour, candidate for state Treasurer
There is no cost to attend either event and refreshments will be served.
