SOLOMON — The Southwest Coordination Center is reporting a new wildland fire in the Gila Valley.
The Brushy Creek fire was discovered Monday at about 4 p.m. Size is at 10 acres and cause is undetermined.
The fire is located about 30 miles northeast of Safford.
Assigned to the fire are two large air tankers, two small engine air tankers and one engine.
