Brian Timothy Pentecost, known as “Tim,” age 65, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, in Springerville. He was born June 19, 1950, in Hamilton, Ohio. He is the son of Henry H. and Doris Jean Houser Pentecost.
Tim served his country in the United States Navy from 1968-1972. He was an operator for SRP for 34 years, retiring in 2006. He loved to hunt and fish and had a great hobby building model cars and hanging out with good friends. Most of all, he loved his son and grandchildren and always said that everyone should have grandchildren first. The love of his life was his wife, Paula.
He is survived by: his wife, Paula; son, Chris (Sarah) York of Eagar; brother, Chris Pentecost; sister, Sandra Dowden; and four grandchildren.
Tim was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Michael Pentecost; and grandchildren, Garrett Rider, Cody Webb and Cade Webb. A viewing will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2016, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m., at the First Southern Baptist Church, Springerville, with visitation one hour prior.
Graveside services for Tim will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., in the Eden Cemetery with military honors being conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard.
