CLIFTON — Late Wednesday afternoon, the Town of Clifton announced that interim Town Manager Cindy Blackmore has been hired for the position on a permanent basis.
“Cindy is deeply committed to public service and believes strong local government is built through transparency, collaboration and meaningful community engagement that enhances quality of life for residents today and into the future,” the town wrote in a social media posting announcing the hire.
Blackmore was hired as interim town manager in September, following the resignation of Town Manager Tina Babaletakis after just a few months in the position.
Blackmore served four years as the town manager of Chino Valley before resigning in September 2024. Before that, she worked more than two decades with the City of Avondale, including as the Public Works director.
