Billie Lane Bryant

Billie Lane Bryant, of Pima, Arizona, quietly passed away on December 22, 2022, in Safford, Arizona. Bill was born on June 3, 1934, at his home in Pinedale, Arizona, to Charles and Isabel Lewis Bryant. He was the youngest and last surviving of 8 children. He graduated from Snowflake High School as Student Body President and Salutatorian in 1952. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from BYU.

Bill married Helen Elaine Goodman of Tucson, Arizona, in the Mesa Arizona Temple on August 7, 1954. They have 7 children: Lisa (Richard) McNeill, Lance (Nancy Montierth) Bryant, John (Shaunna Tilton) Bryant, Julie (Tony) Goodman, Monica (Jace) Hancock, Karina (Telly) Stanger, and Brendon (Beth Kendall) Bryant.

Bill spent the majority of his career at Hughes Aircraft in Tucson, working on missile test equipment. Bill was a devoted husband and father. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership callings throughout his life. Bill and Helen served a full-time mission together in the Billings Montana Mission from 2003-2004.

Funeral services for Bill will be conducted at the older LDS chapel on the highway in Pima, Arizona, on Thursday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service. Concluding services will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
