Barbara L. Hill, age 78, of Safford, passed away on January 31, 2017, peacefully with her family by her bedside.
Barbara was born in Pima on January 31, 1939, to Levi and Juanita Rogers. She worked for Safford Unified School District and retired after twenty years. Barbara enjoyed working as a bus driver and also at the print shop. She had a great deal of love and compassion for all the kids who rode her bus and came into her print shop.
Barbara is survived by: her “love”; two sons, Ladd Hill (Dana) and Toby Hill (Becky); and her daughter, Tye Hill (Larry Detrick); all her grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren who she treasured dearly. Barbara is preceded in death by: her parents, Levi and Juanita Rogers; her eldest son, Ladell Hill; and a great-grandson, Calob Franco-Allen.
She will be greatly missed and will be forever loved.
Private family services for Barbara were conducted Thursday evening, February 2, 2017, at the Vining Funeral Home.
