A deputy was dispatched to the area of Solomon Road and Barney Lane on Friday in response to the report of two white trash bags that had been left on the side of the road. The reporting party said they smelled like death. The man also said that several dogs in the area had gone missing.
The deputy located the bags and found that they contained several decomposing chicken carcasses. The mysterious bags were removed from the road and disposed.
