What’s your favorite Christmas cookie? Three popular Christmas cookies were put to the test in a recent survey conducted by House Method: Gingerbread, sugar cookies with frosting and chocolate chip. Survey respondents in Arizona chose the gingerbread cookie as their favorite holiday cookie.
Pollsters surveyed 4,580 Americans in mid-November, 2019, asking them to select their favorite Christmas cookie. The top Christmas cookie turns out to be the sugar cookie. Sugar cookies with frosting were voted the most popular Christmas cookie in the U.S. (21.9% of Americans). Sugar cookies were voted most popular in 21 out of 50 states.
As a close second, Chocolate chip cookies were voted the 2nd most popular Christmas cookie (21.6% of Americans).
